Howdy.

I'm Hilaire and this Blogger account is for my writings, and my e-life in general. My posts will include updates about my fan fictions, my original characters and their profiles, my sudden flashes of genius, my muses, etc.

I'll also make posts about the anime, manga, fan fictions, and all other things that I find particularly interesting.

At present, I'm working as a beta-reader of one of my favorite fics. :D

About Hilaire.

Hey! I'm Hilaire, and I'm the biggest procrastinator you'll ever meet. I'm an economist, a fan fiction writer, a beta-reader, and a scanlator. I like diversity, and I hate being idle. I like to think of myself a master of many trades; I do my utmost to be really good at everything I do.

As a fan fiction writer, I only write when I feel like writing; and I update only when I actually have something to post, or feel obliged to update. I mostly write for different anime, as my little tribute to their genius. I love working with canon material and giving it a little spin, so that it's creative but still fits the original storyline. I often write about side characters because I usually find them more interesting than the main ones, and I really think they deserve more stories about them.

I ship a number of unpopular pairings, all of which I wholeheartedly believe in. If I see it, then it exists to me, regardless of what everyone else thinks. My favorites include Claude x Alois (Kuroshitsuji II), Asami x Takaba (Viewfinder Series), Sebastian x Ciel (Kuroshitsuji), Charles x Van (Blood+) and Jeremiah x Anya (Code Geass). It might come as a surprise, but I was never into shounen-ai/yaoi prior to finishing the Blood+ manga. Charles x Van was just so brilliantly twisted I had to change my mind.

I get bored quickly, so I must always be kept amused. I like numbers and Calculus. I run regressions when I'm bored. My favorite authors are Michael Crichton and Oscar Wilde. I love European history, and I find Caligula, Philip V of Spain, and Ivan the Terrible of Russia absolutely fascinating. I'm a huge fan of equestrian, and I want my own horse and ranch someday. (Well I'm not really sure about owning a ranch, but you get the point.) I love Dairy Queen. I love Economics, and I really don't believe in altruism.

I always enjoy feedback from readers of my fics, especially detailed constructive criticisms. Harassing me into updating a story never works, but talking me into it probably will.
